VOTE for PATRICK MCCORMACK on November 3rd!
For Kansas House of Representatives, District 92
YOUR VOTE TRULY MATTERS.
We are facing an unprecendented election for Kansas and our nation. The 2020 election is about fighting for our constitution, communities and citizen rights. And we are fighting for the legacy we are leaving to our children. As your Republican Representative in the Kansas House,
I can make a difference in Topeka. I am 100% dedicated to improving the lives of Kansans and will use my experience to work cohesively with both parties to solve our State's problems.
LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD.
Personally, I was raised in St. Louis and moved to Kansas in 1988. I have been married to my wife, Annette, for 34 years and am a proud father to five children and grandfather to five grandchildren. I believe now more than ever, that we need to stand up strong for our family values and Kansas values which influence decisions people make, both within the family structure and throughout our Kansas communities. I firmly believe our public schools serve as our foundation to a more productive society. I am a fiscal conservative and endorsed by Kansans for Life. I am proud to have served my country and am a U.S. Army Veteran. I recently retired as a Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper after 24 years.
I believe in term limits. The Kansas Supreme Court reflects what is wrong with Kansas politics. When an opening occurs on the Supreme Court, The Supreme Court Nominating Committee nominates candidates, and the Governor must pick one. The Kansas Bar Association controls a majority of the committee seats. This assures that the Bar has the final say on which attorneys get selected. This type of nepotism must stop. I support the Bar forwarding candidates, but the Governor should also have the option of selecting a District Court Judge who has been on the bench for five or more consecutive years. This will ensure that a judge has been appointed and re-elected or been elected and re-elected to serve a second term. Kansans deserve to have a say on who serves on the Supreme Court.
